| The Bank of Ruston is a local mutual federal
savings bank. Our history of being a part of Ruston dates back to our humble
beginning in 1905. Being a truly local banking facility, The Bank of Ruston
views community reinvestment as good business. We have continued to expand
our offerings of financial products and services to assist our community
in meeting its financial needs since our inception in 1905. We primarily
serve Lincoln Parish and its contiguous parishes of Claiborne, Bienville,
Union and Jackson Parishes by offering mortgage, construction, consumer
and commercial lending within this defined area.
Financial services offered by the Bank are designed to meet the needs
of our local community. Our lending activity includes conventional, FHA,
VA, RECD, non-conforming and construction real estate mortgage loans;
consumer loans including automobile, second real estate, unsecured, various
secured loans; loans secured by the associations deposit accounts; and
commercial loan services. Deposit products include interest bearing checking
accounts, non-interest bearing (regular) checking accounts, money market,
statement savings, certificates of deposit, and individual retirement accounts
(IRA). In addition, the Bank offers safe deposit box rentals, money orders,
and travelers checks. In order to provide greater access to our services
after hours, we offer check card services, a 24-hour automatic
teller machine, night depository, 24-hour online Internet access and billpayment
service.
The Bank of Ruston operates in our main office at 505 N. Vienna, Ruston,
LA with current lobby hours of 9:00 am till 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Our drive-through window is open from 8:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m. Monday
through Friday and 8:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bank of
